It’s gotten really cold here in Freiburg, so I’m dreaming of warmer places, like the Great Ocean Road in Australia. This is the first beach where you start seeing the 12 Apostles, the rock formations jutting out of the water.
Rotorua is famous for thermal activity. Shortly after seeing bubbling mud, we got the chance to see the Lady Knox geyser erupt. It was really cool to see, even if they do artificially induce it so tours can be guaranteed to see it go off.
